— Meet Lauren —
Hi! I'm Lauren. Welcome to Naturally Made Essentials! I live in Boca Raton, Florida with my husband, Donothan, and our son, Chase.
After having Chase in 2016 our life quickly changed. He was born premature at 34 weeks and 2 days and spent some time in the NICU. Besides the normal nervousness of being a first-time mom, I now had to care for my delicate little 5lb. baby boy.
After learning of all the risks that premature newborns are prone to, I really started re-thinking our home and all of the products he was being exposed to.
I started doing my research to find ways to begin using naturally derived products on a daily basis. I sat down for a whole day, took every single one of our household cleaners and experimented, googled, and studied how I could replace them with healthier homemade recipes.
That quickly lead to me replacing my personal products as well as beginning to discover the benefits of aromatherapy.
Once I was completely emerged and dedicated to living a more natural life, I noticed that the products I was buying to help me on my journey were not always what I hoped they would be.
I was a new mom, out of work, and didn't have the resources to spend a fortune on oil kits or other items that I had no idea how to use. I had countless experiences with products I had ordered either taking MONTHS to be delivered or when it did arrive, was not the quality I expected. I started getting more and more upset about all this money I had spent and the lack of confidence I had in these products.
This sparked the idea of Naturally Made Essentials. A place where others can find affordable, quality products and resources to guide them on their journey to natural living while providing the best possible customer service.
Fast forward over a year later and we are now a full-time family run business. My husband is my partner in life, and in business, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Chase is thriving and we are helping people!
We are dedicated to creating a customer service environment that anyone feels comfortable to call us, ask questions, and let us know if they need anything. We are here for you! We want to know you!
We want to empower you to say no to harmful ingredients and toxic chemicals in your daily routine and give you the resources and alternatives to make it easy! It's not about doing it all, all at once, all the time. It’s not about all or nothing.

Hi! I’m Ashley and I live in Western Montana with my husband, Jason and our four children, Abby, Nick, Ben, and Jack.
We are still fairly new to the world of essential oils. But we’ve quickly adapted to using them in our household.
As our children have gotten older, they’ve wanted to help with household chores… well, mostly the parts involving a spray bottle. So while it was important for me to encourage the behavior to build up responsibilities, I didn't want to expose my children to toxic chemicals in many of the mainstream cleaning chemicals. I had always wondered... when I spray window cleaner and the smell lingers (I may even find myself coughing) - what is this doing to my body? Let alone, my children!
My journey began...
It was around this time that I set out on a mission to do one thing. Detoxify my home by replacing my store bought cleaners and other chemicals, with all natural alternatives.
While doing research for natural solutions, I found essential oils, but I was a bit of a skeptic. Do they do as good of a job cleaning as the products I was using now? Back then, I could only see essential oils from the outside looking in. They looked like nothing more than a folk remedy.
When our oldest child started school, I heard other parents talk about essential oils. At one point I used Tea Tree oil as lice preventive but that was it. And although we avoided the lice other kids were bringing home from school, I still wasn't totally sure.
Was it because of the essential oils or just luck?
When our oldest son, Nick, started Kindergarten in 2016, my kids were catching more colds. I noticed something odd though.
Friends were dodging colds left and right, while my whole house was getting sick. What was the difference? I asked them, and they all had one thing in common - essential oils.
I started asking more questions about essential oils and my friends were happy to share what they were doing. Some were even kind enough to share samples.
One day, our house got hit, with that nasty bug…. Lice.
We had stopped using tea tree oil, and I had to go the store to get a lice kit. After treating everyone’s hair, cleaning the house, putting precious stuffed animals into bags for a week, I vowed never again. I went and bought another bottle of tea tree oil, and began my research for oils.
Watching these events play out with me and my family is how I came to realize the real life benefits from using essential oils.
It was rather serendipitous what happened next. My husband, Jason, began to work with Naturally Made Essentials and I was introduced to Lauren.
Now I'm here and I'm using essential oils for everything from cleaning, pain relief, headaches, helping my littles get to sleep, bug repellents, and more. And I’m so excited to be a part of Lauren and Donothan's team… I really should say family, because that’s how they make you feel.
I’m so excited to be a part of a company, whose goal is to help others, whether that’s by offering great customer service, products at affordable prices, or education. I can’t wait to learn more from not only Lauren but our customers as well.
